Leverage is the spring finale and eighth episode of the second season of Siren and the eighteenth episode of the series overall. It aired on March 14, 2019.

Synopsis[]

Mermaids and humans join forces in a radical plan to stop the oil company, but their efforts have a devastating effect. After facing an uncertain future, Ben, Maddie and Ryn come together for a romantic farewell.^[2]

Trivia[]

Merfolk and humans ally themselves for the first time in centuries.
Xander ends his relationship with Nicole after learning that she is with the military.
Ryn, Cami, Sarge, Vivi, Eliza, Katrina, and Levi all express their gratitude to Maddie, Ben and Helen for protecting their kind from those who wish to exploit them.
Ryn sees how humans make love, ends up doing with Ben and even Maddie.
As a sign of her mutual feelings for him, Helen gives Sarge a shell necklace as a remembrance of her.
Sarge is killed by one of the very shard hooks which slit his neck.
At Katrina's command, Cami now enacts her vengeance on Xander for taking her mother from her. This results in a fire around the North Star and causing it to explode, leaving Xander and Calvin's fates uncertain.
Maddie's mother and stepfather are absent here.
This is the first mid-season finale of the series, marking room for the second season of Cloak & Dagger to premiere on the fourth of April. It is announced that the remaining eight episodes would start airing on June 13th, 2019.
